Tudor Village Lilydale was in much need of a new community centre following the unfortunate fire at the existing facility. The facility was subsequently demolished and a new 1000m2 facility designed in its place. The new facility incorporates an indoor pool, gym, consulting rooms, library, theatrette, and dining / social / lounge rooms which are serviced by its own commercial kitchen. The building features coffered and high vaulted ceilings and features timber wall cladding throughout, and the exterior is dominated by a 42-degree pitch slate tile roof with large gable ends.
