As part of the Frankston City Council Masterplan, Station Street Mall has transformed into a safe, flexible, and green public space; connecting the Station to Bayside and Shannon Mall, reinvigorating the heart of Frankston’s retail precinct and providing for outdoor dining for patrons throughout the precinct.
The scope of work involved the construction of a modular timber deck, including structural steel framing, foundations, stormwater drainage, new planters and seating, landscaping, new festoon lighting and street lights and the installation of market umbrellas
Stage 2 works extends Stage 1’s scope of outdoor seating and landscape to include a concourse connecting to Clyde Street Mall and Gallery Lane as part of the Frankston City Council Masterplan to revitalise Station Street Mall into a safe, flexible, and green public space rejuvenating Frankston’s central retail precinct. The works include the construction of a modular timber deck, structural framing, foundations, paving, hard and soft landscaping, street lights, stormwater drainage, planters and seating.
