The project comprises of an extension to the existing Performing Arts Centre to integrate four new performing arts studios, circulation space, services and amenities. This includes demolishing part of the building to create a connection into the existing buildings.
The structural scope of work consists of bored pier footings, precast concrete external walls and lift shafts, suspended post-tensioned concrete slabs, suspended conventional concrete slabs on steel frame, structural steel upper level roof framing.
The building comprises of metal deck roofing, aluminium windows including feature window shrouds, external fibre cement cladding, wall and ceiling linings, lighting, balustrades and handrails, vinyl floor and sprung timber floors, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical services, doors, joinery, passenger lift and minor external landscaping.
