The City of Greater Geelong in conjunction with the Victorian State Government committed to a joint project to revitalise the Geelong CBD. The ‘Revitalising Central Geelong Action Plan’, delivered the streetscape upgrade of Malop St (between Moorabool & Yarra St’s) to create a more vibrant, accessible public space. Works included the demolition of existing road & street infrastructure and the construction of new road and footpath pavements including upgrades to existing drainage, street furniture, lighting, with a particular focus on the landscaping component. 9 months of work completed across a 12 month period (Nov Dec Jan was not worked due to clients requirements) allowing for xmas holiday season.
