The project involved the construction of a new 1500m2 Children's and Community Centre on a green fill site in Melton.
Tudor Village Lilydale was in much need of a new community centre following the unfortunate fire at the existing facility. The facility was subsequently demolished and a new 1000m2 facility designed in its place.
A new single level sports pavilion located at the northern end of the sports oval. The scope includes new electrical infrastructural works to upgrade electrical light and power around the oval.
The construction of a new two-storey Performing Arts Centre included the refurbishment of the music and drama rooms, external walkways, and the interface between new and existing buildings.
The project was a collaboration between The University of Melbourne, University High School, Bio21 and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, and is designed for 200 VCE students.
