Broadmeadows Leisure Centre

Council allocated funding within the Capital Works Program to provide the Broadmeadows Leisure Centre with a 50m metre eight lane swimming pool, and a new entry to Tanderrum Way. 2Construct provided Construction Management services, Supervision and coordination for the completion of remaining onsite works of a $12 million Leisure Centre for a period of 8 months. The scope of works included the sealing, works and final lock-up of the 2150sqm pool hall building, testing and commissioning, fit off and finish the change rooms, including membranes, fixtures and tiles. Further external works including civil and landscaping works. Project management for the defect Coordination of the defects liability period, and completion of works to ensure the issue of certificate of occupancy for the finished redevelopment.
