Over August and September, 2Construct held our first series of Tradie Health Month BBQ's to spread the word of Work Safe Victoria and R U OK Day as well as show our appreciation for all the hard work our staff and subcontractors put in on a daily basis.
The BBQ's were held at 101 Castro Way Warehouse Facility, Lennon Mills, Springvale Botanical Cemetery, Maranatha Christian School, Mentone Grammar, Clyde Recreation Reserve and Lochaven Recreation Reserve! 2Construct aimed to educate site staff on the construction priority harms in Civil, Commercial and Demolition. The R U OK Day message was promoted to ensure all of our staff and subcontractors know that there are no qualifications needed to reach out to someone they may feel is doing it tough by asking 'are you OK'.
We look forward to hosting more of these BBQ's next year!
