Thank you to all our staff for attending the 2025 annual 2Construct Company Day. A fantastic chance for the team to share our achievements, current projects and meet new staff members.
We were joined by Jimmy Plunkett, who has been working with all staff members since last Company Day to consolidate 2Construct’s new internal core values throughout the way we work. We also had the pleasure of welcoming Marty Fields who provided the team with a lot of laughs to break up the day.
At the 2Construct company day, we recognised Danny Peluso for 20 years of service, Chris Barker for 10 years of service and our co-founders Duncan and Peter for 20 years of leadership!
Danny has been integral since 2004, starting as a Project Manager and Estimator. His expertise in project procurement, contract administration, and tender preparation has contributed to the successful delivery of diverse projects, from schools and sports pavilions to industrial developments. As Estimating Manager, Danny has played a pivotal role in securing projects that have shaped 2Construct’s portfolio. With 28 years of experience in the construction industry, Danny’s dedication and strategic approach have been invaluable to both the company and our clients.
Chris joined us in 2014 as a Contract Administrator and has been key in delivering major projects like St Kevin’s College Tooronga Sports Training Facility and Docklands Park (Ron Barassi Senior Park). In 2017, Chris transitioned into a Project Manager role, leading projects ranging from $1 million to $35 million, including Clyde & Lochaven Recreation Reserves. Last year, Chris was promoted to Civil Project Manager, where he led one of our largest projects to date, Templestowe Soccer Facilities at Powerful Owl Park.
In 2004, Duncan and Peter co-founded 2Construct, which has grown exponentially as a business, now employing 70+ staff members with multiple projects currently under construction. With over 70 years of experience collectively in both the building and civil construction industry, they have completed over 400 projects!
