2Construct is a multi-faceted construction company, delivering a broad range of Building, Civil Infrastructure, and Civic landscape projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Our project scope spans various sectors; Commercial, Industrial, Community, Education, Aged Care, and Sport & Recreation. We are looking to fill an urgent requirement in our team with the addition of a Contract Administrator overseeing projects $5m-$30m around Melbourne.
The Role
We are seeking a qualified and talented Contract Administrator to join the 2Construct team. The new Contract Administrator will have the opportunity to work across Building, Civil and Industrial projects ranging across various industries. It is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the Project manager and enabling both 2Construct and the client to achieve project objectives.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Scope of works and procurement of trades
- Subcontractor negotiations, letting and administration
- Financial management including preparation of progress claims and variations
- Reporting and tracking project costs, expenditure and budgeting
- Developing strong relationships with clients and consultants
- Support to on-site requests from site teams
- General project administration.
About You
You are a driven professional with a passion for the construction industry, you will also bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Proven experience in similar role within the commercial construction industry
- Sound technical knowledge and financial management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and manage professional relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Strong IT Skills across MS suite and construction financial management packages (Levysys exposure advantageous).
